Attendance

Please contact MRMS when your child will be absent. Please state student's first and last name, grade and the reason for the absence.  The system gives date and time automatically. If it is for an extended time, state specific days and/or dates, otherwise our calling system will notify you daily.
Calls made directly to the office phone and the staff that answers them can impact our ability to function efficiently with the daily tasks and demands for maintaining a smooth running academic environment, so please use the hotline.

The Attendance Secretary can also receive emails concerning your child's absence and will forward a reply as soon as it has been documented.
We have a calling system in place for notifying you of your child's absence when no parent notification has been received. We rely upon this system for accuracy in our records as well as the safety of your child.  Please maintain accurate phone information with us, so the system is effective.
